Students can choose from lodging with a Spanish family, sharing a flat with other students, University Youth Hostel, or renting their own flat or Apartment. CSA does not provide housing confirmation for this program. Students can arrange housing upon arrival, with the assistance of the housing office there. For Granada, housing facilities do vary widely, so it is better to actually see your options before deciding where to stay. CSA requires all students to pay for their own housing monthly. This way, you can change your housing arrangements easily in case you decide later to live with a family or in a flat.

Housing rates vary, but on average the cost will be approx.:

Host Family/ includes 2-3 meals daily $900 – $1100 per month
Shared Flat/ no meals included $600 – $800 per month
Youth Hostel/ no meals included $500 – $800 per month

Many participants live with carefully selected Spanish families. Each student shares a room with another student in the same house. Single rooms are extra. All three meals are provided daily by the family: breakfast, lunch, dinner. A student cafeteria is also available on campus. While living with the family, students are responsible for doing their own laundry, and the use of the telephone is limited.
