Housing

There is no residence hall housing at the Sorbonne. CSA provides web-links for several housing options, located below as well as in the "Housing" and "Important Links" sections of the Main Menu (CSA website). Finding housing takes 1-3 days. Housing arrangements are usually obtained upon arrival and visiting the various housing places and choosing one you prefer (facilities vary). Housing with a French family is possible, but only after arrival and upon request to the Sorbonne student office...which can take a few days to arrange...and can only be done in Paris.

CSA provides web-links for Paris housing in Foyers and hostels on our website located in both the "Housing" and "Important Links" sections of the main menu. Students stay in "residence halls" called Foyers. CSA provides a list of these Places. Students are responsible to obtain their own housing upon arrival into Paris. CSA strongly suggests that students arrive into Paris 1 week prior to starting date. Finding a suitable room in a Foyer can take 1-3 days. If you need to stay in a hotel for 1-2 nights, CSA will also include a few hotel listings with your "confirmation of enrollment". Housing costs will vary per student. Expect at least $600-$900 per month with some meals. - depending on lifestyle. Meals can be prepared yourself, or you can purchase meal tickets at the Foyers and nearby restaurants. Some Foyers will have cafeteria facilities. See list. For more information, see links for Paris housing. (click here)
