The Location

Berlin is a city of historical importance. It was once the capital of the Kingdom of Prussia, the German Empire, and the Weimar Republic, the Third Reich, and now the current unified Germany. Berlin suffered the actions of the Nazi Party, was divided into the East and West by the infamous “Wall”, and since the reunification of 1989 has today become a influential center of politics, culture and science making it an ideal location to study. Berlin is the second most populous city in the European Union, home to many large companies, has many historical sights, a diverse art scene with many galleries, and overall has a unique blend of old and new. Berlin is a European “Gem” that provides a great location to study.
