The Program
What better place to study Spanish and experience the wonders of the ancient Inca Empire than Cuzco, Peru. The program is located in a colonial building only one block from the main square – Plaza de las Armas. With 25 classrooms, the group classes meet for 4 hrs per day – conversation and grammar focus, as well as cultural matters. Can start on any Monday, except holidays. Conversation teachers are rotated weekly in order to give offer the maximum exposure of varieties of spoken Spanish. Also, Cuzco airport pick-up service is included for your convenience, just let us know your flight arrival details by e-mail.
The Location
Cuzco, Peru is the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. It is located in the center of Peru, in the fertile valley of the East Andes. With a population of 300,000, Cuzco is the oldest city in the American Continent and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a region of natural beauty – its streets and squares, the magical majesty of the Inca monuments, and the elegance of the colonial buildings. Cuzco has it all: art, magic, mystery and all the natural beauty united in the center of Peru. It is very well connected and you can travel safely to the most important places of the ancient Inca Empire by taxi or bus easily. Without doubt, your stay in Cuzco will be an enriching experience! Courses
Spanish language – all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. All students take a placement test upon arrival, and are placed in the proper level. Course programs are intensive – 4 hours daily, 5 days per week (M-F). Small group classes – 5 to 10 students per class. Classes are 110 minutes in duration, and are scheduled between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Students can give their preference for certain hours…after arrival and check-in.
Starting dates are every Monday…..except on holidays. Upon completion, all participants receive a certificate of completion.
Academic Credit
Students can earn about 1 credit per week, or 4 credits per month. 4 hrs of class are offered per day, 20 hrs per week. Obtain transcript (certificate) upon completing the course, and ask that an official copy be mailed to your home school – provide the exact address.
Activities
The program includes a dynamic, interesting and fun leisure program that complements the language classes. All activities are directed towards learning more about the Peruvian Culture. For example: Cultural Workshops, Peruvian Music, Cooking, Dance, and several options for excursions, trips and hikes for a reasonable fee. Schedule can be obtained upon arrival and check-in.
Housing
Participants can live with carefully chosen host families within the city of Cuzco, or they can stay in a local student guest house. Host families provide 2 meals per day, and single room. The student guest house is located in the same building as where classes are given, and has shared bathrooms and kitchen – living rooms…and includes breakfast. You can also arrange your housing if you prefer. Let us know what type of housing you prefer.
Host family with half-board costs $195 USD per week. Student flat with 2 meals costs about $295 USD a week. Can pay directly there, or in advance (added to balance). Again, you can arrange own housing if preferred.

Requirements
Programs are open to all students and adults. Minimum age is 18.

Arrivals
Arrive 1 – 2 days prior to starting date. E-mail your flight arrival info for Cuzco airport to CSA, for airport pick-up service is included in the basic program fee.
Registration
Register online. CSA Registration Deposit of $45 USD required to be fully registered. Can pay online by credit card. CSA also accepts personal checks, cashier checks, money orders, wire transfer, or direct deposit. Please review the “Register Overview” section for details.
